Alpine Changemaker Basecamp
MENTORING PROGRAM

 

When: 4th to 9th of July 2021

Where: Val Poschiavo/CH

What: Coaches from the fields: architecture, anthropology, and environmental sciences, entrepreneurship, crafts, regional development, philosophy, art; intensively coached periods alternate with inputs, self-organised work, peer-to-peer units, reflection and feedback loops, events, and community tasks in order to facilitate the implementation of the own projects.

Target group: committed people between 18 and 30 to promote their own ideas and projects for social change and sustainable development in the Alpine region; educational background does not matter. What counts is that they do not only believe in the possibility of a sustainable development of the Alps as a living, economic and natural space, but who also want to make a concrete contribution to bringing about this change with their specific skills.

  • Idea/project sketch for an Alpine Changemaker-Initiative (1.5 p.) that aims to provide impetus for change towards sustainable development of the Alpine Space
  • Letter of Motivation or video/audio file (Optional, max. 2 Min.)
  • CV (1 p.)

Costs: A participation fee of 100CHF is charged. Costs for accommodation in shared rooms, food, travel to and from the camp (by public transport) is covered.

Mentoring Programme: Participants are supported by a “mentor” who acts as contact person for the preparation phase and supports the Changemakers in the course of the project phase following the Basecamp within the framework of a mentoring programme. After the Basecamp, the coaches continue to support participants on their project implementation journey through a one-year mentoring programme. Participants present their projects in an international forum and act as mentors themselves for new generations of “Alpine Changemakers”.
